Dr. Maria C. Madrid is a board eligible family doctor born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley.  She has proudly served as a practicing physician at the Veteran’s Affairs Clinic in McAllen, Texas from 2002-2005.  Since then, Dr. Madrid has been serving the citizens of Edinburg, McAllen, Pharr, San Juan and Alamo areas since 2005.  Dr. Madrid is a dedicated and caring family doctor, providing comprehensive, quality health care for patients of all ages.

 Dr. Maria C. Madrid is originally from Sebastian, Texas in Willacy County.  She graduated from Lyford High School in 1994.  She was accepted to the 1^st class of the Baylor College of Medicine dual enrollment program offered at the University of Texas- Pan American in 1994.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1998 from UTPA.  Dr. Madrid remained in Texas and received her Doctorate of Medicine in 2002 from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.  Dr. Madrid then moved back to the Rio Grande Valley and completed a 3-year residency at the Family Medicine Residency Program in McAllen, Texas. 

After residency, Dr. Madrid joined Dr. Norma Iglesias and Associates in San Juan, Texas.  There, she provided comprehensive health care to all members of the Pharr, San Juan, and Alamo community.  In 2007, Dr. Madrid returned to Edinburg, Texas and opened her own Family Practice.  Madrid Family Medical Center was established in 2007 in Edinburg, Texas.

Dr. Madrid holds the honor of being the 1st Hispanic Female to receive a Doctorate of Medicine from Willacy County, Texas.    She is proud to hold such an honor and is passionately involved in mentoring future female physician wishing to pursue careers in Medicine.  She is an active supporter of the Boys and Girls Club of Edinburg, Delta Zeta Sorority Mentor, American Cancer Society fight against Breast Cancer, and many other local charitable events.  

 Dr. James Morales, D.C.

Dr. James Morales is original from Brownsville, Texas, but he grew up in Edinburg, Texas.  Dr. Morales recieved his Chiropractic training in Dallas, Texas before moving back to Edinburg.  He has been an active member of the Edinburg community. He has served on the Edinburg School Board and other civic organizations.  Dr. Morales enjoys spending time with his family and exercising.  He is also the President and CEO of Accident & Rehab Chiropractic Clinics in Edinburg, Texas.
